Our Drone Fleet

Vermont Drone flies more than several dozen custom modified versions of the following multirotor aircraft:

  • Custom-built Professional Hexacopters, Octocopters, and Decacopters

    810mm Professional Hexacopter

We have three six propeller, one eight propeller, and one ten propeller multicopters. They can be quickly modified to carry all types of payload and can support take-off payload weights from zero to 42.5 pounds. Each features two operator capability allowing our experienced pilots to concentrate on flying, while our professional photographers focus on the photography/cinematography.

Each can be fitted with our custom built 3-axis (3D), dampened and stabilized gimbals which can mount any one of our professional Hasselblad medium format cameras, Nikon or Sony Full Frame cameras, Nikon or Sony APS-C Frame cameras, Sony or Samsung mirrorless cameras, a professional RED camera, or a Flir thermal camera. The cameras can be fitted with professional lenses weighing up to several pounds. This includes, but is not limited to, an image stabilized 15-60mm zoom lens or a 10mm f/3.5, 14mm f/2.8, 24mm f/1.4, 30mm f/2.8, 35mm f/1.4, or 50mm f/1.4 prime lens.

  • DJI Matrice 300 RTK with Dual Remotes

The ultimate platform for aerial productivity and cinematography. They combine a rugged design and simple configurability to work as a solution for a variety of applications from film/tv production to construction and mapping. Improvements include customizable payloads, dual downward gimbal cameras, single upward gimbal camera, enhanced intelligent control systems and RTK GPS, flight performance, and increased flight safety and data security features.

We primarily use them for our data collection services including, but not limited to, documentation, mapping, search, or construction.

  • DJI Inspire 2 Pro with Dual Remotes

The Inspire 2 takes everything that was good about the Inspire 1 and improves it greatly. They are the workhorses of our fleet due to their professional feature set, extreme agility, quick preflighting, long flight time, and flexibility.

It can go from 0 to 50 mph in just 5 seconds and hits a maximum speed of 58 mph. It has a max descent speed of 9m/s for unheard of speed and agility in an aircraft this size. A dual battery system prolongs the flight time to a maximum of 27 minutes, while self-heating technology allows it to fly even in low temperatures.

Each features unobstructed 360° capture. Its two operator capability allows our experienced pilot to concentrate on flying and our professional photographer to focus on the photography/cinematography. We can fly them indoors or out, even in higher wind conditions.

Each can fly with an DJI X7 or X5S camera one of our Leica 15mm (30mm equivalent) f/1.7 professional lenses, an Olympus 12mm (24mm) f/2.0 professional lens, Olympus M.Zuiko 14-42mm (28-84mm) f/3.5-5.6 zoom lens, Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 25mm (50mm) f/1.8 professional lens, or an Olympus M.Zuiko 45mm (90mm) f1.8 professional lens.

We use them primarily for Photography and Cinematography.

  • DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual Quadcopters

Light and compact quadcopter with Dual Visible & Thermal Cameras (FLIR MSX™, Infrared & Visible) with integrated Radiometric FLIR® Thermal Sensor for Emissivity & Reflective Surfaces.

Primarily used for our data collection services including, but not limited to, documentation, mapping, search, or construction.

  • DJI Air 2S Quadcopters

    Smaller than the Mavic 2 Enterprise, the Air 2 offers a fantastic 1-inch image sensor with large 2.4μm pixels. It is capable of 5.4K: 5472×3078 @ 24/25/30 fps, 4K Ultra HD: 3840×2160 @ 24/25/30/48/50/60 fps, 2.7K: 2688×1512 @ 24/25/30/48/50/60 fps, and FHD: 1920×1080 @ 24/25/30/48/50/60/120 fps.

Primarily used for Indoor and Outdoor Real Estate Photography and Cinematography.

  • DJI Mini 2 Quadcopters

Ridiculously quiet, small, and light, the Mini 2 is quickly becoming our favorite quadcopter for indoor cinematography, especially around or over people. In the hands of our expert pilots, it’s integrated camera with a 3-axis (3D) gimbal produces super steady, sharp and versatile 2.7k video.

We use them primarily for Indoor Real Estate Photography and Cinematography and in other tighter spaces.

  • Custom-built CineWhoop, Cine3D, and Cine360° Quadcopter Drones

We custom built these for either a Insta360 One R Dual Lens, Insta360 One R 1-inch, Insta360 Go 2, GoPro Hero9, Hero8 Black, GoPro Hero7 Black, or GoPro Hero Max camera.

Our CineWhoops range from frisbee sized to so ridiculously small and light, no bigger than a kid size fast food 1/4 pound burger and bun. These quadcopters are ideal for indoor flights or outdoors in tight or larger spaces. In the hands of our expert pilots, they provide smooth and sharp UHD video even at high speeds.

Our Cine3Ds are capable of flips with sustained inverted flight, high speed flights, tic toc’s, and many other 3D maneuvers that can almost bend the law of physics and defy gravity for extreme action or “chase” videos.

As with all our other drones, the camera view is fully unobscured. We custom designed each to not capture any part of the quad or props within the frame. Even with our 360° camera Cine360° Drones!

Used primarily for Cinematography, Filmmaking, TV/Movie and Ad production.
